Win boosts Burnley in the table

Manchester United began the second half after substituting Greenwood for the fresher Pereira. Rodriguez sank the ball into Man Utd 's net in the 56th minute. The 69th minute saw a change in the Manchester United line-up: Lingard and Shaw came onto the pitch while James and Williams headed for early showers. Burnley secured a 2-0 victory.

Man Utd find themselves unable to get out of the table's lower half. They are currently ranked ninth. Manchester United have racked up seven wins, eight losses, and five draws. There has been little to celebrate for Man Utd in their last three games, considering they have emerged second best from every one.

Burnley have only managed to bring home 11 points from their games on the road. Burnley held onto 12th place in the table in the first half of the season, but now occupy seventh place. Burnley sit in the middle of the table, having compiled 26 points in 20 games. Burnley need to improve their somewhat-scanty record, given that they are tallying eight wins, 10 losses, and two draws.

Manchester United will play at home against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
